Downtown Ventura was transformed into a winter-holiday celebration on December 3, 2011. Santa visited via a firetruck before lighting the Holiday Tree, a mini-blizzard accompanied live music and dancing in the street, all along with the Ventura Winter Wine Walk and Holiday Street Fair.

Main St. was closed to vehicle traffic to accommodate the Ventura Holiday Street Fair as well as the Ventura Winter Wine Walk.

Ventura Mayor, Bill Fulton, announced Santa’s arrival, via firetruck, to the San Buenaventura Mission. Santa said a prayer before the lighting of the Holiday Tree.

The intersection of California and Main was turned into a dance party, accompanied by a mini snow-blizzard.

Live music supported the revelry through the day and evening.
