The Tortilla Flats Mural Project is a legacy to a Ventura, CA community that existed from about the 1920’s to the 1950’s, when it was displaced by the 101 Freeway.

The Tortilla Flats Mural Project is an artistic and historical documentation of the westside Ventura neighborhoods once known as”Tortilla Flats.”

Located on Figueroa Street, in downtown Ventura, CA, the mural represents universal experiences of working class people.
