Adam Clark is a live studio and multi-stylist drummer. In this interview he speaks with Our Ventura TV host, Hanna Lynn Roth, about the basics of drumming as well as his own influences.

Adam performs Jazz, Latin, Funk, Fusion and Reggae and considers Jazz as the “mixed martial arts” of music. He notes that it’s the one style that has more styles built into it.

Adam has performed with local musicians Toni Jannotta, Pablo Plasencia, Paul McCollum, the Adam Clark Trio and a new group, Surf Ghosts.

His main recommendation to those interested in learning drums is to “have fun.”
