Teresa Seeley, Executive Director of the Conejo Free Clinic in Thousand Oaks, speaks with Our Ventura TV host, George Alger, about their nonprofit’s medical, legal and counseling services for the uninsured and under-insured. The organization was founded in 1976.

Seeley speaks about their volunteer doctors, their funding and the differences between their privately-funded free clinic in comparison to county or other government clinics.

Medical and legal services are provided weekly by appointment and according to the availability of volunteer professional staff.

Some services book up quickly and there may be a wait. They try to get clients in as soon as possible.

The Conejo Free Clinic serves the Conejo Valley and Ventura County.

As one example of their broad scope of free services, Seeley highlights the screening and diagnostic mammograms that are free of charge to women in need.

Payment for services is not required but donations are accepted.
