Is Monsanto foisting dangerous, lab-created foods onto Americans and their children which lead to health problems and disease?

Nancy Mura is a Food Coach on Autoimmune Disorders. In this interview with Our Ventura TV host, Nicole Pyle, she briefly describes her experience with a debilitating, chronic exhaustion, which she could not get a proper diagnosis for after repeated doctor visits. Ultimately, her condition was found to be an autoimmune disorder, which means the body is attacking itself.

More specifically, she was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease, an autoimmune disease in which the thyroid gland is attacked by a variety of cell- and antibody-mediated immune processes.

Mura states that 50 million Americans have some form of autoimmune disease — including fibromyalgia, lupus and others — and that 75% are women.

She emphasizes that individuals need to be an advocate for their own health and that they should be become educated on important health topics, such as genetically modified organisms (GMO), which are organisms whose genetic material has been altered using genetic engineering techniques. GMOs are the source of genetically modified foods and are also widely used in scientific research and to produce goods other than food.

Mura states that manufacturers claim GMOs are safe and harmless and you don’t need to eat organic food. However, she states that they are dangerous to health. She describes the 5 most deadly crops and cites a video, The World According to Monsanto GMO Documentary, as a resource for more information.

In this interview she also recommends solutions for individuals to lead healthier lives.
