The basic principle of homeopathy, known as the “law of similars,” is “let like be cured by like.” Raphaele Cohen-Bacry, pharmacist and homeopathic educator, discusses homeopathic benefits with “Our Ventura” host, Joshua Lane.
Homeopathy was established by German physician Samuel Hahnemann in 1796. Homeopathic medicines have been regulated in the United States as drugs since 1938, by the FDA.
Two Examples of Homeopathic Medicines:
1) Arnica montana reduces bruising and swelling for elective and plastic surgery. Athletes use it to reduce physical trauma.
2) Oscillococcinum reduces flu-like systems (body aches, headaches, chills, fever, feeling run-down).
