Mossy foot is a disease that manifests itself as a massive swelling of the feet and legs. Its common name describes the appearance of the skin that becomes very rough and bumpy and changes to look like moss.

Sharon Daly, president of Mossy Foot Project, speaks with Our Ventura TV host, Bob Taylor, about their group’s work in Ethiopia.

The Mossy Foot Project is registered both as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the United States and a chartered NGO (non-governmental organization) in Ethiopia, where the organization operates under the name Mossy Foot International.

The group’s mission is to provide Mossy Foot patients with life-changing resources through medical treatment, prevention, education, vocational training, and a message of eternal hope.
