Mayor of Ventura, Cheryl Heitmann, speaks with Our Ventura TV host, Sandra Siepak, about the California drought and actions that individuals can do to conserve water.

Heitmann discusses how residents can better serve the community, including by participating on any of numerous city community commissions as well as other community volunteer activities.

She also speaks about Ventura’s 150 year anniversary coming up next year. The official anniversary date is April 2nd, 2016.

Heitmann also addresses her support for veterans, particularly those that are in danger of becoming homeless as well as providing the appropriate services for Ventura seniors and additionally, economic development to build the economy of our city and support local businesses.
