Westminster Free Clinic
Lisa Safaeinili speaks with Paulette Mahurin about Westminster Free Clinic in Ventura County. Safaeinili is the Executive Director of Westminster Free Clinic, which offers basic, non-invasive health care to serve the working poor of Ventura County. Physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other medical professionals volunteer their time at the clinic after their regular jobs. Community volunteers and teens also assist with the program. A limited number of paid staff provides a necessary infrastructure and consistency.
