Visual Artist Curator, Ricardo Rodriguez, talks about “First Friday” at the Bell Arts Factory, in Ventura, CA.
The First Friday of every month, from 6-9 pm at the Bell Arts Factory, is a fun evening of discovery and artistic appreciation. As a kind of “open house” into the numerous art studios – combined with demonstrations, lectures, music, and performance – “First Friday” is an opportunity to share in this unique Ventura experience.
The Bell Arts Factory is a community art and cultural organization providing multi-cultural events, youth art classes, art and cultural sponsorships. It’s a prominent venue for artists, poets, musicians, dancers, and social/cultural advocacies that enhance and uplift our community.
In October 2004, the Bell Arts Factory was conceived to transform an historic, 20,000-square-foot mattress factory on Ventura Avenue into a vibrant, mixed-use community arts center, which officially opened in April 2006.
