Pastor Darryl Dunn speaks with Our Ventura TV host, George Alger, about his ongoing and long-term battle with cancer. Dunn has been contending with blood cancer for over a decade. Prior to the blood cancer, he successfully overcame a five year struggle with throat cancer.

Dunn has acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), which is the specific type of blood cancer.

Dunn undergoes regular chemotherapy treatments and has also had a stem cell transplant, which is a procedure that, in his case, replaced his own sick blood cells with healthy ones after they were removed and cleaned. Dunn notes that the procedure necessitated bringing him to the brink of death.

His cancer battle also resulted in the amputation of a leg. The loss of a leg occurred because it got infected in the hospital, and his weakened immune system was unable to heal the infection.

In this interview, Dunn outlines the primary factors that he attributes to his ongoing cancer survival.
