Paul Jenkin, Ventura Campaign Coordinator for the Surfrider Foundation Ventura County Chapter, talks about coastal erosion and managed retreat as well as the past, present and future regarding the preservation of Ventura’s Surfers Point Dune Restoration Project and bike path.

Joe McDermott, Principal Civil Engineer with the City of Ventura in the Public Works Department, discusses the seeding and planting of the dunes.

Project Biologist, Dave Hubbard, with the California Coastal Commission, talks about the specific native plants that build dunes in conjunction with the dynamic, shifting nature of California dunes.

Yousra Al Madani talks about volunteering and seeding the dunes.
