Scott Brewer, Oxnard’s Emergency Services Director, speaks with Sandra Siepak about being prepared for an emergency.

Brewer also notes that it’s each individual’s responsibility to be prepared, since, in the event of fires, floods, earthquakes, etc., official emergency services may be so engaged that they might not be able to respond to your specific needs in a timely manner.
