Polly Hoganson Interviews Musician Ron Hargrave
80-years-young musician, Ron Hargrave, is interviewed by OurVentura host, Polly Hoganson. Ron moved from NY to Hollywood in 1936. He worked as a stunt man in movies and performed and sang rock and roll in the army. Ron performed with Tommy Dorsey and Jimmy Dorsey. He toured with Jerry Lee Lewis and wrote a song for a movie. He had a hit record in Japan in 1961. He also recorded for Capital and MGM records back in the 50s. In this video, Ron plays an 1835 tune from Stephen Foster on a ukelele.
