The mission of the Ventura County Office of Education Homeless Education Program (HEP) is to help children and youth experiencing homelessness improve their academic skills and to reduce the educational barriers they face.
Through collaboration with the local district McKinney–Vento liaisons, they strive to ensure that student supports are equitable throughout the county.
