All-Alaskan Racing Pigs
Bart Noll talks about his All-Alaskan Racing Pigs show, which has been touring the Western United States since the late1980’s. The All-Alaskan Racing Pigs are a team of flat-track racing and hurdling pigs, whose antics, combined with Bart’s entertaining narration, generate plenty of family-friendly laughs. Bart has five sons, and Taylor joins him for this Ventura County Fair show.

Progress at the Ventura Botanical Gardens
President of the Ventura Botanical Gardens, Doug Halter, speaks about the progress and plans regarding the Ventura Botanical Gardens. Ultimately the gardens will represent the earth’s five Mediterranean climate zones. Additionally, the gardens will serve as public gathering areas and facilities for educational programs, botanic laboratories and collection space. There will also be a book and gift shop, plant sales area, dining facilities, and an event center.

Groups danced, sang, performed, entertained and/or waved their greetings to the thousands of spectators along Main St., in downtown Ventura. The Ventura County Fair itself is taking place from Aug. 1-12 this year, at the Ventura County Fairgrounds.
